My BIL has a 96 F150 that needs a new bumper, rad support, and fenders. I Found a walk off front clip for $180 on CL. What is your estimated time to pull the front clip off of his truck, replace the rad support, and install the new front clip? What all has to be unbolted to get the front clip...
Sorry to hear this Ron, at least we don't have a vid. of you holding on to the front bumper sliding through the yard trying to stop it. You can fix it.
I did the RSk on mine, using the stock springs, and it rides just a rough now as it ever did. Biggest disappointing mod on my truck. It raised the front about 3 "
Most prefer the drivers side manifold, I put mine it the top of the manifold near the back, gives a nice straight shot to run the wires up and through the firewall.
The PO of my truck butchered up the wiring for the brake controller, and I am wanting to fix it. Does the part of the harness that the controller would plug into, unplug up under the dash somewhere? Or is it part of the main under dash harness?
Don't pin the fan. We had a member at a past IDI rally who pinned his fan, and when he shut the truck off the fan spin loose from the water pump, and ate his rad. Not recommended. You could remove the fan for S&G if you wanted to see how much HP it uses.
Scott first off nice install, but it's kind of hard to tell from the pictures, did you use any rubber between the IC and the lower mounts? I know the factory uses rubber there, and just wondering if the mounts will wear on the aluminum IC?

The IDI having the chain hooked higher is effectively lifting the the back of the 'max.
Not the smartest thing to do with a couple of trucks.:idiot:
Gary how wide is your 5er? Mines only 8' and I can't see crap unless my towing mirrors are turned out. Just wondering how well you can see with those little ones?
