    The yellow plastic piece is just meant to stop the hose when you push it on as this type of barb requires no clamp. As Russ/Typ4 stated above, putting a clamp on that style barb is a no-no and will cut the inner tube.

    This is good info, but not for this post or the IDI forum. The “dually” tensioner is a great 7.3 Powerstroke update (just did one in my 95, pics attached) but unfortunately it’s not applicable to a 7.3 IDI.
