Fixed a loose injector after a smokey mountain morning, Starter hooking up the block heater on a timer and that truck is ready to go by time work starts- Ky85

Power brake booster gvw question
Looking at power brake boosters online, they are designated as over/under gvw 8500 lbs. This creates some questions; What is the difference, if any, in using one that says 'over 8500 lbs' on a truck that weighs 5680? If I had one that was under 8500 and then went over that weight, how bad...- Ky85

New belts, new pump, hoses, had to use old pulley since the 1 ordered off lmc was wrong. But no bearing in the pulley so old really wasn't broke or nothing. Bled the line and took it for a spin, topped off the fluid once warm. Not bad! Last pic you can see how far the old belt needed to be...- Ky85

Update 9 17 Been purging air out the bleeder valve with success, truck starts up like it used to. Planning to inspect/replace glow plug system components as well for S&G. It's only gonna get colder and harder to warm up!- Ky85

Here's a video, in this video I was experimenting to see if it was the glow plug harness since I have this issue in the morning and its cold. You can hear it struggle to start. Messing with that striker bolt placement has had some success. Passenger door is now flush..and really hard to open from outside. Going to leave it shut for a while and try to get it 'green broke' at least. Thinking I shoulda done same on driver side before I went messing with door alignment...- Ky85

Got those on. Bent the metal in from cab. still sticking out..I ordered new pins for the hinges..maybe the old owner brought the doors in closer as the seals worn out.. Not confident with hinge play but if that's what it takes. I've sunk my teeth in now!- Ky85

New door seals about 2 months ago..they are still sticking out a lot. Seems that its rubbing on the engine side near the hinge. I thought that they would settle by now. Has anyone had trouble with this too? I've played with the post that the door catches on and can get it slightly closer. I'll...- Ky85

Blue book price +/- local vehicle prices is a good starting point. I'd say a lot of it depends on where you are at, Craigslist your area and the surrounding counties for similar trucks. No rust, turbo, built trans are all high selling points to me. (Sometimes your insurance can help with...- Ky85
