What happened with the dodge? We have basically the same setup just in an 06 3500 and it has been pretty much perfect in all honesty. But it is as stock as can be.
Got your measurement.
From the highest weld shown in the picture up by the front diff. (Note: not the lower one in the actual groove touching the ear)
To this weld to the right of the rubber/spined section.
Is exactly 23 1/4 from center of the weld to center of the weld.
That is interesting to me though that F250 and F350 manual zf 4x4 trucks can have the same rear driveshaft length as well as possibly the front. You would think since the 350 is a few inches taller, that it wouldn't be the same.
Here is the Ford Part Number, ive seen it cheaper through Ford then that Bronco Graveyard link.
(Dash repair kit for right (passenger's) side dash mount. Frequently get broken. (Ford) F4TZ-1504366-A)
It used to be a sticky but I don't see it over there anymore, maybe it got moved. But...
Yes sir. It is posted a lot about over on F-T.
Common problem for the obs dash, kinda like the brace on the firewall for all our manual trucks. Yes a lot might not have it, but with enough time it will happen.
Im hoping with the OBS I pick up, its still good and I can do the tsb for it...
I was laying down so it was easier if you texted me.
Plus if I needed to clarify anything with you, get a different measurement, or change how I was measuring for you; it could be done. Versus having to come back on here and check for a response, etc.
But I came here to update so everyone...
Just went out at 5am to measure just for you lol.
My 1990 F250 meets every part of your criteria and mine is 45,000 miles and everything factory original so thats about as good of a truck to measure on that you could ask for.
With that being said, 47 1/2 from weld to weld. ;Sweet
Pretty much what was posted already is the same advice I used on mine.
Ordered felpro gaskets through rock auto, cleaned best I could, permatex copper, and was done with it.
As far as the CDR, not a whole lot of good options lol. I hate the stupid location of it on the NA engines; I was...
Anymore info on your particular truck lol?
2wd, 4wd, what gears you have, what transmission, drw or srw, what you mostly use this truck for, etc?
I looked at your profile and about the 94 but just want to double check first.
well at least thats a good thing.
Did he ever say what the reason was for 0 oil pressure which caused the walk? I didnt know if he ever found out a cause or how to prevent it in the future.
I noticed he had that happen 2 times. Is there anything specific that was causing that issue? Oil cooler need some work, to much boost, etc?
Was just curious.
Thanks
THANKS!
It was funny I was just about to post that LCAM-01XA and I had just figured out that my truck didn't come with a driver's side seal; which goes with exactly what you said.
I wonder why they waited until the last year of these trucks to even start doing it. By then they might as...
I just need the drivers side one.
I figure I will just put them back on with some grey rtv or whatever and be done with it. Of course it would still be nice to know why they need to be sealed. I could see them being needed to keep big debris out, but the cowl covers these holes anyways so...
Got a driver's side cowl seal?
Goes here.
Also any good interior dome light assemblies in good shape? 87-91? I dont know if the the 92-96 interiors use the same one.
I just didn't know if there was anymore of a specific answer as to why it is supposed to be seal. To me it looks like it just would flow down to the cowl drains, just like the other open area in the middle of the truck.
Or does it have to only go in the center section?
I guess I will go...
