    engine oil cooler?

Trey, If you want to cool your oil some, but not too much, you could invest in one of these- http://www.thebestoil.com/AMSOILSyntheticOilandAirFiltrationProducts/Catalog_ProductDetails.aspx?id=1338 Then, if you felt like you still needed more cooling, you could just splice into the return side...

    Which centrifuge should I buy?

Man, that's just not enough- and RUG is used to thin WVO, not WMO. WVO has lubricity to spare. I use heat, 6 passes on 0.5micron bag filters AND a centrifuge for 6 passes and still clean black gunk out of the 'fuge. I will say though, that my injectors look good- probably because I run...

    need cooling upgrades, any advice?

Yeah, seriously- I have a set of turbo heads waiting to go to the machine shop for boil/bake/valve job & porting, it would be nice to nip this potential overheat problem in the bud...

    coolant filter install question

LOL! I'm "one of those people" my thought/worry being that in the winter the flow through the coolant filter would be slowed to such a point as to not provide sufficient BTU's to the cab heater, so I bypassed the bypass. Other than that it looks like we chose to mount our filters very similarly.

    Pushing the fuel?

WMOGuy, You might want to give some very serious consideration to a water/meth system if you're going to run WMO a lot. It will keep your egt's in check and prevent the dreaded WMO ring coking. It's not like we don't already have enough to worry about on these old rigs...:D

Can you have a RDT with a bypass filter?

Hey Archie, If you're thinking about the Amsoil system, then I would say go for it- definitely easier than the options so far presented. Get Amsoil's in & out adapter that screws onto the stock oil filter mount- this will save a sh!tload of work and is bullet proof. Take a look- I love mine &...

Air Cleaner Housing Tube- Where does it go?

It's your water drain tube.. Looks a little newer and different than mine, but I'm pretty sure it still goes back by the fire wall..

    dieselogic

Hey Crazian, I live in Jax and Diesel logic is on the other side of town, needless to say that that's where my re-man'd BB's came from. Good price & good performance- add one Baby Moose to the picture and you now have excellent performance. I give them a :Thumbs Up

New fuel tanks and sending unit source found

Of course you can use it, you just have to seal away the galvanizing from the fuel. This stuff is amazing- it has a 4 day cure time, but after that NUTHIN' affects it...

To Moose or not to Moose that is my question

-And it will damn sure overfuel an N/A- even at the proper delivery setting fresh from the rebuilder. Brad, I think Hell might have just frozen over- I actually agree with you on something..:rotflmao

No it isn't, not for me anyway.. I'm always forgetting about it.. Then I feel like an ass for smoking out the poor schmuck behind me.

To Moose or not to Moose that is my question

Well, OK, I'll donate.... BUT- you have to PROMISE to only use the money for research. And NOT research like "Hmm, I wonder if a case of Coors will chill faster in my fridge than a case of Bud??"...:D:D

To Moose or not to Moose that is my question

Yes sir I certainly understand that perspective on the dynamics of the air/fuel issue. The view from the other camp's perspective is that any time there is any visibly unburnt/partially burnt hydrocarbon, there is a shortage of oxygen in the mix for the amount of fuel made available. Sort of a...

To Moose or not to Moose that is my question

You don't race and you don't sled pull,a Baby MOOSE has more than enough juice for anything your stock turbo can throw at it. It comes to you over fueling anyway- why do you need to waste even more fuel? You rich or something??? Smoke aint macho, smoke is a joke.

    Diesel + Hydrogen = WHOooaaa!

Sorry- I can't believe I missed that. At 1800 rpm there is no observable variation in rpm, up or down- it's not like hitting it with a spray of NOS or LP. ~16mpg.
  21. BioFarmer93

    Diesel + Hydrogen = WHOooaaa!

It's not a non-subjective test at all, the drag on the alt for an extra 30-40 amps being demanded of it at idle rpm represents a much higher percentage of the then currently available horsepower. At driving speed rpm's, the alternator's output efficiency goes up and the percentage of HHO system...

    Diesel + Hydrogen = WHOooaaa!

Actually, it's not simple physics, it's extraordinarily complex physics coupled with chemical engineering at a level I can never hope to achieve understanding of. Having stated that, I will say that I have read some dumbed down synopsis' of what is really happening in that happy little enhanced...

    NITROGEN-ON-DEMAND TECHNOLOGY

OK, I'm guilty of not going to the website either- they are calling it nitrogen on demand, but I'm doing some research right now because I'm almost positive that the "catalyst" they refer to works with unburnt hydrocarbons to make dinitrogen oxide (NOS) which WOULD do what they claim. Back in a...

    Diesel + Hydrogen = WHOooaaa!

It worked fine, I gained approx 4mpg, but it leaked like a sieve.. It was dismantled, all of the plates were sand blasted, new different gasket material was aquired and about 200 gaskets have been hand cut, the number of plates was fine-tuned based on new info, the system dedicated 150A...
