    Maybe something to do with the direction of the Turbine. And the affordability of available turbo's to use. Either way there is enough room to funnel the 3 inch pipe out the drivers side inner fender and out the back under the body.

    If you look at the picture of the chineese stat, you'll see its much deeper, that alone will restrict flow in my opinion. Flow is very important. So whatever stat you use, Look at the depth and compare with these photo's.

    sounds fine, I've been intalling them for years too, but why take a chance, who knows who's making them now...with all the world economy going to hell..could be chineese and you'd never know it...LOL

    Yes, thats right. I think if a person wants to, they can make upside down headers that go into a collector to mount twin turbo's. Just by using Plumbers pipe, (90's). The exhaust would come out the front and down through the inner fenders...possibley depending on clearance

    I'm doing a turbo install, so why not do the head gaskets. Installing Turbo compattible Head Gaskets. Lapping the valves, replaceing the valve seals, polishing up the ports.
