    2001 TDI Just bought and now it surges. Help

    My son took off the hose feeding the boost air to the EGR valve and it didnt appear to be clogged, but I think we will just to check. We also scanned the computer and it showed a egr problem and a glow plug issue. I think the glow plug issue was fixed. thanks for the replies.

    Hey Reset2 here. Glad you had a good trip. I think I saw your pictures of the truck stop on photobucket(?). I was at the rally also in the ambulance (left the IDI at home). Ill look at home for the hubbys, but I think that I only have old chevys.

    Official 2012 rally

    Made it back Friday night midnight. Spent the night in a motel in Cleveland Oh. Took a day trip on a ferry visiting the islands of Kelly and Put in bay. Also stopped by the Drake oil well muesum in PA. Had a great time at the rally. Thanks Ron for planning and scheduling the week.

    Might be late for anyone to bring along. Im in need for a AC pump and clutch assembly for a 1990. Mine leaks and the clutch came loose. If you have one bring it along to the rally. If it is reasonably priced and works I will buy it. See you Sunday morning at the line up for the tour run.

    New tank score!

    I found that the local business that works on gasoline and diesel stations has a supply of waste diesel and gas. This is a left over from testing and repairs that cant be put back in the point of sale tanks. About every county has one of these businesses. Look around.

    Some plant tours require closed toe shoes. I guess sneaks are OK but open sandles might be out. Museum I would think will be ok for any shoes.
