How much would you pay for an all original, un-molested IDI?

Definitely had some paint work by the looks of it. Very clean tho.

    Annual IDI Gathering

I hosted that scorchingly hot week and even with the extreme heat, sporadically intense thunderstorms, it was a great week! If you ever get the chance to attend a rally, do it!

Never saw this OTC tool before

Mmm, would be a nice addition to my rare idi tool box. Would come in handy for pinpointing a stubborn injector. Price isn't bad either.

You have the lines routed correctly. Have you seen the vrv adjustment thread in the tech articles?

    C6 still aint right!!!

Are the lines hooked up to the vrv correctly? Has a vacuum test been done on the vrv to verify its functionality?

    7.3 idi oil cooler wanted

I've got a couple of coolers, can get one rebuilt for ya as I've got a spare set of orings. For $130.00 we are close enough that you could just drive over to get it if you'd like.

The Official 2014 IDI Weekend truck rally

Well we are out. Doing the math and vacation time available, we cannot make the trip east next year. Rising costs have taken my shop funds from supporting my diesel habit and have now been shuffled into being used to support our monthly income even after trimming out some comfort expenses and...

    94 7.3L idi wmo help!

If the filter light is coming on, then the lift pump isn't able to supply adequate fuel therefore triggering the vacuum switch on the filter head. Try mixing the fuel before dumping it in the tank. If filters are fresh, the lift pump may be getting weak.

    heater

Nope, you can get them and the pigtails aftermarket at most any parts store.

    heater

Check the blower fan switch. These have a nasty habit of getting hot and melting the connectors. If it's melted, replace switch and pigtail connector.

    Are you guys 100% sure.....

I'll second what Russ said. It's far easier and less time consuming to leave the housing bolted down. It's 4 less bolts to deal with an no worry of screwing up the cam to ip gear alignment.

    idi with bosch injection pump

Mmmmm, had one off a 9.0l IH, in my possession and has now moved on to someone else who is going to attempt that feat. Was going to exceed my cost limits to do so and was going to leave the engine at an experimental state and not as what I wanted for a reliable daily driver. Really want to see...

    CDR vs RDT

The drain issue comes more so when the engine is cold and not up to operating temperature yet. Till that oil warms up and becomes more viscus, it'll bottle neck itself till it gets warm enough to flow since it's more or less a gravity based return.

disassembling my dana 50 hub need help

Please tell me you're not hitting the axle arm assembly. Should just need direct downward force on the ballpoint shaft to get it thru the bushing. Usually a pickle fork for the upper and lower joints and a few good downward whacks pops em out.
