wtb 92-94 air duct for air cleaner

CLB - I'd be interested in that tube for the price of the ride. What you think the ride will cost to 51046? Waystro - Any chance you still have the one you were thinking of? Thanks Jeremy

wtb 92-94 air duct for air cleaner

I'm looking for the air duct at bolts to the radiator support above the drivers side battery and feeds air to the air intake. I'd like the duct and hose. Would be great if it was off a 93-94 factory turbo, but a non-turbo piece should work just fine also. Thanks Jeremy

    6.9 Superduty

I would probably modify the shafts. Both shafts should have a slip joint in them. By chance is there enough slip joint to take up the 1" of difference your seeing? Around here getting them cut down is cheap and getting them lengthened gets expensive. Now I'm assuming you meant modifying the...

So, i got into an accident today...

When I replaced my steering box I grabbed a unit from an f150 2wd with a 6cyl. Figured it's had an easy life. And it was tight.

    Adding ABS Sensor to D44HD

I also was wondering about pulling the VSS off the transfercase. my 89 has a little sensor deal that goes in the speedo hole. Then it has a speedo cable hookup and a wire hookup. Wires for the cruise system and cable for the speedo. Not sure how it compares signal wise to the rearend. Like is it...

    DIY RSK... Whos done it?

This was the discussion when I did the swap many moons ago. Now that it's on the road it drives great. No ill habits at all. Also I don't have a steering stabilizer anymore. I did have one on it before because it needed it. And I didn't grab any height over a factory F350 4x4. I found some...

Potential IDI owner dropping a line

Other than the rocker the truck doesn't look bad. If the rest of the body isn't rotted underneath like that rocker it might be Ok. All that work for 2500 seems OK. You'd have double that in the work if you had to do it. Is it an auto or stick?

Potential IDI owner dropping a line

IDK, What are they asking? That cab looks pretty rough. I've never seen a cab rocker on these rotted that bad. Makes me concerned about how the rest of it looks underneath. Problem is if it's just an occasional vehicle if it rots apart then it's not going to be useful and probably nothing you...

    IDI Bronco Project

I did the super duty swap just like you were purposing with the super duty shackles. It worked out fine. Yes the springs aren't parallel but it isn't a problem. I used 99-2004 super duty springs and had to extend my 89 frame to accommodate the length. Rides and drives great.

Used ZF-5 speed, Question on checking condition

Yeah no Lucky mod for me. Last dual mass I had went out at 5 cents a lb in the dumpster. All I have is the 6.9 flywheel with Luk clutch. So truthfully swapping to a full SMF doesn't give me heartburn as it would also put me back in to a 7.3 flywheel. Although I've had no issues with the 6.9...

Used ZF-5 speed, Question on checking condition

Yeah I'm aware of the modifications to make the tranny bolt to the IDI. I'm going to borrow the mag drill from work to drill the holes. Should go pretty well. Thanks for the comments guys. Kind of what I figured on the ZF. My thought was to run it through the gears. See if anything felt...

Used ZF-5 speed, Question on checking condition

I picked up a ZF 5-speed from behind a 460 Last weekend. I have a couple questions before I start rounding up parts to put it in. I also got the transfercase behind it so i'll probably be asking about how to check it out also. 1. How do I tell how good of shape it's in? Without running it can...

    Van Restoration Project

Yaric, impressive work as always. Your work is always top notch. I put a ton of lizard skin inside and outside my crewcab when I had it torn down. 3 gallons of each product actually. The quest for a better paint job: Step 1 Paint Booth

laser, clean install on the fan. Mine ended up being a little more bootleg. I did as Sassyrel said and built an outside hood that puts the exhaust out away from the building side. Wasn't sure why, but I kept seeing hoods on all the Ag-buildings around here with exhaust fans. I like the plan...

    US Gear Surprise

I believe the older US gear units used a standard Eaton style motor. like this. The wires came out into the lead screw housing. And on this housing is where some eaton switches would mount. On my setup the motor wires come out the back of the motor and then go to the control box. According...

    Looking for 68-72 F350 hubcaps

I'm looking for a pair of hubcaps for a 68-72 ford F350 pickup. I need the front painted hubcaps for a 4x4. I have a pair of painted rear hubcaps I want to match. I would consider a nice set of stainless for the right price. They look like this. This set is stainless and a picture I grabbed...

Is this the kit I need?

Any of the RSK's should work. Big difference on using them on a pre92 truck is the frame will probably need boxed to make the kit work. my guess is all the RSK manufacturers have helped people do this or even have additional instructions for this. I would give them a call and see what they say...

What is this and do I need it?
