Awesome thank you. I was afraid mine wasn't strong enough at 5-9psi. I am anxious to hear how that pre filter works. If it flows fast enough to keep up with demand on the road.

What pressure is that pump putting out? I went all the way through this thread and can't see what pressure that pump is. I'm doing the same and wondering if my 10psi is good enough.

I've seen alot of people bypass there lift pump with electric, but I'm asking if I could put the electric 10psi pump inline with the lift pump. And if so should I put it before or after the lift pump? This is a 7.3L IDI T, K model.

I'd put a inline fuse, or breaker between the isolator and the system. Also imo it's always good to build a terminal box to keep things organized, and not just everything hardwired with ring terminals. And also a battery off / kill switch from the battery bank to the inverter.

Great technical comments guys. I'm learning alot on here. Also some dummy comments from me. I recently discovered that my negatives were really corroded. I replaced with 0gage and cleaned all the grounding points with a wire brush and connected everything back up. Also used big wire on the big...
I wanted to take it back to it's stock oil (sae 30). But that stuff went really thin at OT. Started sleeping out of the water pump gasket and didn't want to start back up when hot. Had to wait till full cool down for it to start up again. I always ran rotella 15w 40 with a qt of Lucas and did...
Ok. Oil question. 94, 7.3 IDI with turbo. Went from rotella 15w40 to straight 30w. Well, the truck didn't like that at all. Lots of smoke and oil went super thin. Started working its way out of gaskets and didn't hold compression to start when hot. Wanted to get some opinions. Should I go back...
I have 2, 7.3 idi t and never had any trouble with the water pump. Without experience needing to change one however owning and driving and all in and out repairs and fixits. I'd go with a motorcraft or stock if you could find it.

Nope. Texas. No emission on diesel.
And I do have the doner truck. I'll just strip parts for my f350 body and sell the duely.

Have gas v10 at lifted 4x4 excursion.
Have f350 7.3 psd manual trans duely.
Have 7.3t idi on mount in shop.
Want to put diesel engine in excerson and bench the triton v10. Trying to get info on what engine to put in excerson with less headache. Stroke or idi.

The PSD is mated to a standard 4+od trans. The duely rear is 3-11 rear diff.
I'm sure the excursion has 4-10 front and rear diff and has a auto trans, with electronic transfer case.
