    It is an impressive build. I (like many) wanted to build a high horse power idi but as it sits my motor keeps taking a beating and has so far never let me down. Maybe one day when it dies. But I already have a few cummins motors sitting around so I may just use one of those instead.

    How easy does your truck start in the morning without ether? With my group 31s mine will start in about 20 seconds of cranking and not miss a beat. With Glowplugs it will fire right when I hit the key. It just needs head work to stop all the oil consumption lol.

    The mounting locations should already be marked under the cab. My current bench seats and the two before that were all out of crew cabs and bolted right into place once I drilled through the washers that were welded under the cab.

    I can do it in less than 2 on a stuck factory kit that fights back. But I've fmdone it several times. Its easiest to remove or at least unbolt the glow plug controller to use short wrenches on the back of the up pipe mount bolts. If I feel like making it really easy I disconnect the the cab...

    I don't think so. The one I have runs coolant through the intake to suck heat off the boost.

    What about an after cooler off of an industrial 5.9? I've for a cummins with an aftercooler and one with an intercooler and i think both could be made to work together. Look up my thread about the 5.9 and 8.3 cummins differences. There are the pics of my aftercooled 5.9 there.
