    I have a 7.3idit that I have torn down and am gonna hone. I found once it was torn down it was bored .30 over. This means that I don’t think I can use a standard 4 1/8 dingleball hone. What size should I use. Also I was planning on using a 320 grit, wondering if that is the right grit to use

    The engine is fine in fact I don’t have the engine in right now. I bought the truck with the turbo that way and it had a rebuilt engine that is now torn down for a rebuild. The engine was in great shape.

    Ya. Sorry it was mainly the fact that they are worn down all the way to the copper look I was told this is bad. They are actually pretty smooth which makes me wonder if they are just made that color/material.
