Group 31's are awesome!!!
Never thought to try group 31s. My whole fleet runs on the wally world 65 maxx's, and I've only had two fail to charge under 3 years. Both times they hooked up their little tester and handed me a receipt to take to the front for a new one. First time now I'm trying a dual optima red top setup...- adrianspeeder

IDI VS early PSD
Iffy fuel sources would lend itself to IDI, but I'd go PSD for the power. The "complicatedness" of a 7.3L PSD doesn't scare me personally due to the comparatively more complicated 6.4L or shoot, even a C-17... Cars got databus now? Adrianspeeder- adrianspeeder

Oh that is a winner of a truck right there! From my research there are 8 different "ZF-5"s depending on gas, diesel, GVWR, and year. As much as I love old iron, the new style superdutys are beefy beefy trucks. Frame, brakes, cab, power, ect, the new trucks win no question. Necessary...- adrianspeeder

Headlight Mod + other wiring
Yup, easy and worthwhile When I do mine on the older trucks I put a new switch up on the dash for the high beams as I personally hate the foot switch. Napa part numbers for the relay and I like the relay sockets to make swapping a relay easy as pie. I rocked like this for awhile on my...- adrianspeeder

want to buy 85 f250
Amen JD. Friend bought a half million mile superduty PSD for 2000 bucks, but it has cost over 4000 in truck repairs, and a set of new injectors for 1800 or so.
