stock pipe off turbo was told better than 3inch round?
Volume wise the stock pipe is the same but the problem is the shape and the severe bend right off of the turbo- Double-S-Diesel

Friend's 94, psd or IDI?
i was told early psd had 5 speeds because the auto couldnrt handle the power of the psd also if the 8th didgt of the vin is a f its a psd- Double-S-Diesel

83-86 fuel sending units
gotts be from a 83 0r 84 , those were the only 2 parts trucks I had. I have the front and rear, dont know if the guage works or not, but the tubes are not rusted. $25 shipped gets the pair- Double-S-Diesel

front axle problem.
on the SD ya pull the lock out hub, then the snap ring, caliper and rotor, undo the abs wire to the inner fender, then 4 nuts on the backside. pretty simple unless the hub is stuck to the nuckle, then itsa pia I also pop the tie rod off so I can turn the knuckle by itself.- Double-S-Diesel

7.3 longevity
ive have a few over 250k only one that went bad was at 290ish the thrust bearings went on the crank but I believe that was due to when the trans went at some piont in time.- Double-S-Diesel
