    Cruise control surging

I was thinking about lack of fuel. I have a holly red pump. If I lightly place my foot on the throttle it will hold it steady but I can feel it fluctuate the pedal. If I don’t use cruise I can hold the throttle anyplace, even 85 mph and it will run steady. I think that eliminates any fuel...

If I set speed above 65 it wants to surge. I can feel it but the tach does not show any changes. I have the electric cruise.

    Water pump

The 2 with the treads all the way are the only 2 like that so I put them in the top. I figured since they are the only ones different they should go in the top.

    Water pump

I am replacing my water pump. I have 2 bolts that are different than all the other short bolts. Does it matter where they go? I also found a connector down at the hose clamp for the upper hose. I don’t see anything it would connect to.

    Got it registered

Our other car is a 2014 Jeep Wrangler. Fortunately we have a zero deductible lifetime warranty that covers most everything except rides, brake pads hoses, be ts and wiper blades.

    Got it registered

I received the truck from my nephew in Idaho. They don’t have emissions. i Was concerned because I am in a part of Colorado that actually does tailpipe testing even on 29 year old diesel pickups. With trepidation it took it to the shop For testing. I am allowed up to 35% opacity in the exhaust...

    Lunchbox locker

That is what I expected. The locker would go in the front. It has limited slip in rear. We would be used for winter driving and some off roading. Not rock crawling. I have a Jeep for that. Stuff like some mud, dirt trails and exploring ghost towns.

    Lunchbox locker

My daughter slid on black ice and went through a fence. While the officer was there 3 others slid on the black ice and ended up in the field. No tickets given. Daddy brought it home from oklahoma City to south of Houston To repair. She learned that if you can’t afford to replace it, carry full...

    Limited Slip Differential

I assume it is a lsd. LSD = limited slip differential. Is there another term I should be using?

    Limited Slip Differential

I have the factory lsd. I need to inspect it and replace the oil. What do I look for when I pull the cover off? What oil do I use?

    Lunchbox locker

Manual hubs. Locking in hubs whenever we have snow. Not often but can be several inches. Then if needed I just slip it into 4hi while motoring. All the parts are already turning at the proper speed. Then slipping it back into 2hI when no longer needed. My transmission and transfer case are very...

    Lunchbox locker

My other vehicle is a 2014 Jeep rubicon. During the winter with snow and ice on the road I will just pull the transfer case lever back while driving and continue down the road. With my f350 if install A lunchbox locker will I be able to do the same thing? My main concern will be turning corners...

    Clutch issue

The slave cylinder is properly mounted with the rod in place. I was able to bleed some air out. The pedal now returns. It is easier to press down which I believe is based on the pressure plate. I still feel it should have more stroke. What is proper way to bleed the clutch since the slave is so...

    Clutch issue

I replaced the clutch and have everything installed and no extra bolts. That is how my wife determines if I did a good job. I topped off the clutch master. I also installed a new fork. The clutch pedal goes to the floor and stays there. I am not dripping fluid. Where to go from here?

    Electric fuel pump I stall

Great. Thanks. Not much difference in fuel line size. I pick up my holly red tomorrow. First I have to get the clutch working (I’ll add another post) and clean the garage floor. Yes my monster truck fits inside my residential garage with the door closed. About 6 inches at back and about 2 ft in...

    Electric fuel pump I stall

I am not sure which line to cut. They both appear to be the same diameter. I may have to follow the line from the front passenger to the pump location. I am assuming 3/8 line. Correct me if I’m wrong. Since the line will no have a flair, should I just place 2 hone clamps on the tubing? Or are...
