    088 Air Intake Bracket?

Putting an ATS 088 turbo that was previously on a '89 7.3 on a '90 7.3. It's been sitting for over a decade, and sent it to CDD for a rebuild. Got the turbo and exhaust all bolted up just fine. I'm not seeing how to mount the ATS air filter, and not sure if there's a missing snorkel to pull...

    F350 Wiring

Found this EVTM manual. Had to break the security to make bookmarks and no color, but looks like a bunch of decent schematics.

    Chronic repeated mouse/rat problem

Had a mouse that wrecked havoc in my '14 Laramie Longhorn Ecodiesel 4x4. Nothing like spending $70,000 on a rig only to have a freaking rodent destroy stuff. Finally picked up some Peppermint Essential Oil, mixed about 3-1 with water, put in a spray bottle and saturated everywhere. That drove it...

    F350 Wiring

Couldn't find a 1989 or 1990 F350 publication listed. Other sellers had a 1991 and 1993. Have a Haynes paperback, not very impressed with it. Thank you for the effort.

So what did you do with your truck today?

    Where did you find those?

    F350 Wiring

I have the three volume, 2600 pages of dealer manuals for all 1989 Ford trucks and vans. It seems as though there are no dedicated schematic pages, rather, simplified ones spread out everywhere. Which is fine if I'm trying to troubleshoot an issue, but no so good for obtaining an overall grasp...

    ZFS542 Spring?

For sure. I got seriously lucky the spring fell onto the transmission and stayed there, and that I hadn't yet installed the new transmission pan with the stick shift cutout. There were better odds it would have dropped into the transmission instead, and that could have caused a whole lot of...

The Official "Show Us Your Ride" pictures of member's trucks thread.

Moving along with my C350 project. Got the 088 turbo with Garett fan mounted today. Deleted the mechanical pump, went Holly Red, then AN6 to the front. Made a bracket to hold a Racor clone separator, then regulator and gauge before the fresh rebuilt 110cc pump. most of the fuel line in front...

    OEM 90° Fuel Connector

Makes sense. It's on my to do list. Love posting questions here, it's a lot easier to get a confirmation than muck up something I'll have to replace.

    OEM 90° Fuel Connector

Looks nice. I ran PTFE 6AN along the frame to the engine. Only have one tank, but the truck has all the wiring, selector valve and dash switch. Wouldn't take much to pop another tank in. Saving that decision for later, no sure how much it will actually be used.

    ZFS542 Spring?

You guys were correct, it was the detent spring. Thank you, very much!

    OEM 90° Fuel Connector

Having fun and games with that 3/8"(?) nylon fuel line. Hoping to eliminate the short piece of nylon line that runs from the tank selector to the holly pump I mounted around 12" from there. The port that's used is the rear tank set, which of course face up, directly into the bottom of the top of...

    ZFS542 Spring?

The project is about 30 minutes from home, and very remote, without wireless, so I can only check messages after I get back. I think you're right about it being the detent spring, which is also why it wasn't covered in oil. I won't have a chance to get back here until late. Really appreciate...

    Perfect. Thanks for the confirmation.

    Are these Extra Wires?

The donor was a 1990 F350 long box crew 4x4 7.3 Zf5 no AC. XLT Receiver is a 1989 C350 - short box crew Laramie 4x4 with back cut out, '89 Bronco shell, and additional 2 rows of rear bench seats. Had E4OD and AC. Truck is now ZF. The '90 had a fairly fresh rebuild on the 7.3 by HiTech engines of...

    ZFS542 Spring?

Pulled the shifter off to change the oil today and found this spring sitting on the transmission, just above the shifter. There is a good possibility the spring fell from the engine compartment, or the dash, and I just didn't see it because it was laying against the top of the shifter mount. I...

    Pre-fuel Filter Required?

Millermatic 212 with a Spoolmate 100 gun. Picked up a square wave TIG, but haven't had the time to blow up metal with it. The secret is in the prep for sure, and yeah, when the time comes that all the pieces finally fall in place it's a pretty awesome rush. In truth, I was hesitant to even post...

    Are these Extra Wires?

"Fuel Vacuum Sensor"?!? Is that needed anymore since I've deleted the OEM fuel pump and water separator assemblies, or will that cause an issue? I assumed the water sensor is a N/C switch, so not touching it will result in a normal operational status. Thanks

    Are these Extra Wires?

Swapped engines, both 7.3idi's. Used the existing engine harness as the receiving rig had factory AC. Also got rid of the E4OD auto and installed a ZF S542. Cleaned up the harness and started to route through the engine and wound up with a couple orphan wires. There are two individual wires with...

Thanks, spool gun on Miller MIG.

    Pre-fuel Filter Required?

This is my first diesel build. To be honest, I didn't know I got a Racor clone at the time, and knowing would have made zero difference as I was completely ignorant of all things diesel then. I just liked the fact it covered three important features in one, as I was deleting the mechanical fuel...

    Pre-fuel Filter Required?

Learn something new every day.. never knew what those were called. I still have absolutely no clue how the interior will end up. I'm installing a new carpet kit in the front since I had to swap transmission pans to make it a stick. Was thinking of a sun roof, have one in my Ram Lariat Longhorn...

    Pre-fuel Filter Required?

It came with a 30, but was thinking of going to a 10 when it's time to change. Am wiring a ignition relay bypass for the holly and the heater in the racor, with a fuel pressure gauge on the pillar stack, just to verify everything on cold mornings before starting. Only installed the stage 1...

    Pre-fuel Filter Required?

You get the eagle eye award for the day. There's a rear inside mounted heat coil located on the passenger side at the Bronco tailgate. I'm not sure if there's coolant lines running back there yet, as I've been focused on the drive train. The tailgate is rusted badly, I plan on replacing...

    Pre-fuel Filter Required?

I installed a Racor 500 clone in the engine compartment. Had to fabricate a bracket in place of the OEM jack, as that is now useless with the lift kit and tires. The Racor has a filter that replaces at the top, a thematically operated heater in the middle, and water separator at the bottom. I...
