Ok we better listen to @lotzagoodstuff cause he’s rite. Just dug out my extra tensioner I ordered off Amazon & took couple pics here. Belt tensioner question
Yes the tensioner to block is in a hole ( just went & cked) but don't remember what size. And IIRC that one is the shouldered bolt. The Idler pully/bolt is the Torx or something. Like I say just now when I cked it's dark, cold, snowing. LOL & on EDIT.... tomorrow I'm gonna go look & see...- ttman4

Belt tensioner question
OK, Same as my engine with AC. I was wrong about the tensioner bolt. IIRC I had to use a thinwall (size????) socket to put the actual tensioner itself on. The tensioner pully bolt itself is just a regular IIRC 3/8" bolt, this is what you relieve the tensioner to put belt on. The idler uses...- ttman4

Belt tensioner question
What yr is your rig? I recently went thru same trouble on my '90 that's got the "94 IDIT in it. IIRC it was a Torx head bolt on the tensioner bolt, or allen.....don't remember. Went to ORileys & got new idlers & pulleys....weren't cheap.- ttman4

DB offset starter review
I've had good luck with DB. Called them last Dec about & ordered a Hydraulic Dump trailer motor & they fast shipped the correct one cheap. They made good on an IDI starter I ordered from them on EBay about 4-5 yr ago too.- ttman4

38 gallon rear Fuel tank
Well about 2-3 yr ago I snagged a F26E 38 gal off EBay for about IIRC about $108 delivered & put under rear of my '90 CCLB dually. I had been watching them & they go down to like $85 or so then back to bout $135 or so. On one of the dips I caught it about $107-108. I also found sending units...- ttman4

Oil in Coolant

Exhaust options
Well for my '90 LB Crewcab F350 I looked round, gathered up some various stuff from behind couple muffler shops. Put bunch of 4" pipe together & finished up with a straight 4" exhaust system. No muffler. As far as cost of muffler shop I have no idea. As far as Power Stroke kit I have no idea...- ttman4

Coolant heated fuel filter header, coolant flow questions
What I did was come off head toward heater, but rerouted heater hose to flat plate heat exchanger. Come off heat exchanger with T. From T one hose go to heater & return. Other side of T I headed to fuel filter, wrapped heater hose round & round my fuel filter, then back to T in return hose...- ttman4

Couple yrs ago friend tipped me off bout Copart. I signed up, IIRC posted by CC a "Bid Fee" or something & bid on a few up here in my area Or & Wa. Didn't catch any. Decided I got too many projects already so backed off. Get my shop built & it'll probably be "LOOK-OUT-WORLD"!!! LOL LOL- ttman4

Thanks for explanation. Well back when they Rodded & Cored my radiator for $150 they unsoldered top & bottom tank off, tank soaked it, then rodded it out, soldered tanks back on. And even then I was VERY, VERY happy for that price!!! & that was back in 2010.....maybe 2008. I remember I was...- ttman4

What radiators fit what yrs & what models?
Well I got my radiator soldered up, try to get it in & hopefully won't leak. I tested it with 12# regulated air & no leaks. Been running a 7# cap for last few yrs. Other day I called Mac's Radiator in Bend, Or & talked to them. They wanted approx ~$200 to patch & test mine with no guarantee...- ttman4

Isspro r606 egt gauge install questions
When you guys are welding a bung in exhaust pipe are you putting it on drivers side just below flange or passenger side just below? And what temp is considered safe? I used to have an ATS 088 kit and probe was in (IIRC) outlet casting. I was told 1200* was max running temp...- ttman4

No I haven't had time to look in the Tec Section yet. I just got in tonite. Had hoped I'd get time to look round etc for last few nights in Tec Section, but.... Hopefully tomorrow I can do some looking, or check & do some measuring on stuff I have in my parts. We'll see. Been trying & trying...- ttman4

Last week my fanbelt ('90 Bessie's in my sig) was squealing, sprayed some belt spray on it. First trip out I down shifted. Threw the belt. Turned out it was idler seized up. Spun fan off & got 3 tubes. Tried to pinch off tubes & solder them shut, (done this before on other rigs).... still...- ttman4

Glow Plug Idea Question
Thanks @ISPKI, I never knew this. I've always just cut the black ground wire & run it thru my button on my rigs. So if I understand, by doing it per your attachment, the GP's would heat as long as button is pushed? On my rigs I heat till lite goes out, turn key off-back on & heat some more if...- ttman4

IIRC once at NAPA (about 15 yr ago) I getting a new block heater I had the option of a 600 watt or 1000 watt heater. I got the 1000 watt heater.- ttman4

How you guys wiring in your GP button? I got my momentary push button wired into the ground wire coming from GP controller. Just cut that wire, ran to push button, then to a good ground. I turn key on, push button & GP lite comes on. Colder it is little bit longer lite stays on...10-12-15...- ttman4

I never thought of that. I got a welder, can weld, I'll just weld my u-joints & plan on them NEVER, NEVER wearing out!! LOL LOL (Think I'll start welding on the wife's front wheel drive Toyota....if I can find her joints... LOL LOL)- ttman4
