850’s are fine
I’ve been using group 31 batteries in pretty much everything now, 950/1000 cca per and they are less than the battieries that your supposed to get
You would not believe how fast it spins it’s remarkable
The top studs are nice just need to put new ends on your existing cables...
Has anyone tried to shorten the steering stop for better turn radius?
Turn radius never really bothered me until i drove a cclb bullnose dually and it turned what felt like twice as good as my supercab long bed
Thank you, my buddies truck it had a very bad factory harness. Weirdly enough the obs they connect one the driver side unlike bulls and bricks
So had to get idi diesels glow plug harness and was not ammused with the routing in the slightest so I redid 80% of it And combined it with the engine...
Yall might like this, wanted to move the driver battery for an intake spot
So I made this tray and a nice spot for all the relays turned out better than I ever would’ve expected
No I did not, ended up getting a new rebuilt unit be here in a few weeks, will revisit and finish the rebuild when I get more information
Never before have I just been a at a total loss. Oh well time to put it with all the other unfinished projects LOL
I thought I’d the bearings too, I tried using the old bearing same effect
Same with syncros
So it up shifted fine but always grinded down into 3rd rarely grinded just a hard down shift Into second
What I find odd is that the old syncros look great infact in places new next to told and the only...
Rebuilding a t-19 here and every time I put the front part of the main shaft in it was to bind up on me and I fail to understand why
Counter shaft smooth as butter
Same with reverse
1 and 2 gears are very smooth shifts wonderfully
3rd has a little resistance
But everytime I go to put the front/...
I’m pretty sure a guy by the name of A A Ron loder on Facebook just did a battle born break hydroboost swap along with a better power steering pump
I did a hydro boost swap from a superduty so it was plug and play for me
The factory ford pump really didn’t cut the mustard for me but...
I’m trying to figure out exactly what t-19 I have to buy a rebuild kit
I bought 2 parts truck many years ago the guy pulled this kit his shed and said it was from one of them and the early 6.9 truck was missing the trans would be my best guess but not confident enough
Everyone says to just...
Found a screaming deal on a parts truck but more of an excuse to do this trucks first real road trip
Boise ID to Folsom ish CA
1300 miles total
Never been to California before it was as bad as I expected
Truck did not skip one beat and I mean I was not being remotely nice to it at all
The...
I haven’t pulled the meter back out yet just put the timing back to where it was so take it with a grain of salt, it made the engine noise a little louder and boosts substantially earlier that’s about it
Feels good to get back into this stuff winter slows me down alot what for my dirt floor lean tu isn’t great but thankful for friends with shops
Threw in an r and d cam I’ve had for 2 ish years finally alomg
With some studs, reseal and clutch
Couldn’t be happier
This was my weeks project
Fast fill mod
New sending unit
Added a drain and access hole in bed. I still need to get some riv nuts to bolt it down, before yall say anything the bed floor is already trashed dented, had an awful gooseneck plate in it, and camper. So there’s where already plenty of...
Yes t-19 I’m not sure how much Exaclty but it’s filled to proper level
I fill it though the top and take out the fill plug
The gears been worn since I’ve got the truck it’s just now starting to bounce at higher speeds not just 15 and under
I need a new Speedo gear, I’m only seeing these shorties available anywhere
Is this a case of updated design or do I need to keep hunting
86 f250 2wd t-19
Is there a way to figure out what tooth count you need for your truck? I believe my Speedo reads 3-5 mph over it currently has a 16 tooth
