Saweeeeeeeet Great way to get a new toy, and momma gets dinner? Win! Look over them slides real good for manufacturer installed leaks, they love to rack on the trolley tracks ( easy fix) and the header trim lets in water ( less easy fix) definitely not a bad get...- Clb

Fbmp is the craigslist flakes new place for the American pickers format. It's probably 2 or 3 times more than the seller knows it's worth... But I didn't watch the video. But, and as a disclaimer, I put 2k into a balanced and blueprinted 22re celica long block. It's a 4 banger... I say...- Clb

3g alternator conversion--pulley problem.
If you're using locktite you should be fine, IF you're really worried get a small set screw ( allen head) and tap the interphase of the threads and locktite it in there, it's a forever fix you can pull apart. My stash of various grades. But don't go insane, get blue and purple ( removable)...- Clb

I am 100,000 +% sure that they will " work" on a mock up engine... But are they going to "fit "an asymbled and running engine? :sorry: This chimerica crap kills me.- Clb

The fact that the faccett was designed to run continuously for days/weeks on end, is testament to the longevity Now if they could keep up with the higher demands I'd still be using it... Sad corporate chimerica is killing us slowly with this issue, but we asked for it.... Walbro being U.S.A...- Clb

It's been forever, and of course change the prefilter, I think you're going to be best served by bleeding the lines going into the cover on both sides first.... Giving the primeing pump it's best chance. Can you pressurize the tank?- Clb

Pop timing yes, but the actual #1 or #4 timing sets the ip event. So as I understand it, basically yes... Time and distance is directly related here....- Clb

Alternator mount tensioner bracket ... hose clip? (6.9)
Those are the sorta stuff I always go to the wreckin yard for, they lasted longer than the chiacom replacement will.- Clb

It seems like justin @ r&d is pushing the front edge of the prototyping of the idi. Others have advertised engine work also, so you might be able to get something from that... Fwiw Once upon a time here, there was a new guy that said he was going to make a dependable 400 hp daily driver that...- Clb
