    Update- I retorqued the head bolts and the leak is still there. When I cracked the head open coolant leaked out. I've heard a lot of people say that pulling just the head is a pain but I don't currently have the space to pull the whole engine. How bad is it pull just the head and fix the gasket...

    Gona retorque the head bolts today. Should i back them all out a half turn before doing so? Anything else to look out for here? Heres a pic with the cover off.

    Nice, so the head studs can be accessed by pulling the valve covers right? What is the tightening sequence if any?

    I'm almost positive I have a HG leak and will need to pull the engine. I have found guides for the powerstroke and for the 7.3 idi with turbo but would like to find a 7.3 idi specific guide. I dont want to do any extra steps or miss anything if possible, thanks all.
