    Have you guys heard of Edison motors? I saw some videos of them converting old peterbilts to a diesel electric power plant, and lately I saw them promoting what looked like a brand new rig. The guy seemed really knowledgeable and focused on trucks that can do real work.

    I run Redline MTL in mine. I didn’t notice a difference in rollover noise going from ATF to MTL. I don’t over-fill though, so I can’t comment on that.

    Same as IDIBRONCO, I only hear the rollover noise when I’m in gear and moving slowly, below 1200 RPM or so. Pretty much just parking lots and stop-and-go traffic. It is annoying though.

    It seems like the pinion seals usually leak because the pinion bearing is loose and allowing the pinion to move around. If that bearing is bad, I would just find a good used axle to swap in. That’s what I did.

    My advice is to not buy the cheapest one you can find. I bought LMC truck’s cheapest option and wasn’t happy with it. It didn’t fit well at all, and the jute pad on the back was about 1/2 the thickness of OEM. If anyone knows of a quality supplier I would be interested in re-doing it.
