That pic ass backwards on the lift is priceless ;Sweet...esp knowing how much is behind the rear wheels :D new steer meats...high back pilot seat...weather tight sleeper...all that is missing are some fuzzy dice :thumbsup: That is a sooper dooper top secret eyes only custom fabrication...- geonc

Idler pulley brgs.....
ooh bouy...you remember that LOL So...anyone have the NAPA #s...I see 6623 and 6203 posted....the only stock OBS one is the very top one--between alt and A/C= smooth pulley....the other one {two} are on the SD tensioner.... :thanks: for the help guys :cheers:- geonc

Twins on a 7.3 ...... Well....besides the complete tear down and cyl honing, rings..... head studs,fire ring deck, cam , BIG oil {HPOP} pusher type fuel system, hybred injectors, some crazy {read $$$$} tunes, tranny/clutch work... just off the top of my head :D For the kind of power...- geonc

Which do you like better: WD-40 or PB Blaster?
My personal preference is PB ;Sweet ...cut my teeth on it---swear by it and buy it by the gallon when I see it on sale! WD is a light duty etchant with "some" redeeming moisture displacement value...... Have never tried Kriol :sorry: found some Is that a decent price?....may just...- geonc

What are the differences between a first gen PSD & the 99+?
Scott, The lift pump is down deep in the valley....behind the fuel bowl and just under the front of the turbo pedestal... OBS PSD used the same style of belt driven vac pump as the serpentine belt IDI's...for the same reason---brakes! As far as what to replace ---depends on the PO :dunno- geonc

elec. problems
Check the small plug in wire right at 12 o'clock next to the main batt term. They get leaned on by everyone who works on them...and it sounds like you have a bad rectifier diode...what that small wire feeds.- geonc

Diesel Fuel Leak..........can't find....
There are a few dips and bumps in the valley before the fuel exits the rear of the eng so you may just have to use a rag and screwdriver to poke with, followed up with some brake kleen..... Why was the filter "loose" :confused: You mean the cover? Fuel sensor---looks like oil press sender...- geonc
