Don't feel bad, the right truck for You will come at the right time ;Sweet
I left a job and now need to move to a different state so I sold everything I had parked outside (6.0, dirtbikes, camper) except for my IDI and my wife's honda lol I'm so glad I kept my old turd and I'm now more...
Good call... sounds like it had a blown headgasket and it being "bulletproofed" might be a bunch of bull or someone didn't know what they were doing.
Can't tell you how many "bulletproofed" 6.0s I've looked at that still had the TTY bolts on.
I didn't use the blocks off my C&C for my build, I read somewhere that they were the wrong width so I ordered 4" superduty readylift blocks and it pretty much leveled it with a rsk on the front.
Ya ain't kidding.
I've been trying to sell my dad's F250 for him but the truck's in NY and I've been working in a different state, 6 hours away lately. It's been a rather frustrating experience.
Been thinking a lot about trading the 6.0 in for a either a 6.6 LBZ or a 6.7 psd
LMLs are $$$$ and LMMs are fugly.
Then there's the cUmInGGs tRoK..sure, only I'll push a chevy before I drive a turdge LOL
I've been towing my 5er camper with my 250 4" lift on 37s since my 350 IDI's been down. Doable but sucks.
Once I'm finished with it'll have 2 inches of lift which isn't bad at all considering how frickin tall these trucks come from the factory now.
If you do a 2" RSK and a D60 you should be able...
Here's mine. Don't like it a whole lot but maybe I will after polishing it. I've thought about swapping it out for a bronco grille
Edit: duh..the ugly tiny orizontal lines with no badge you mentioned is what I have lol
Bought my 87 from my neighbor with the intentions of dailying it at the farm so I wouldn't "beat" on my 6.0
Well I eventually fell in love with the stupid thing and now beat on the 6.0 and baby the IDI. After joining this forum I learned that what I thought were a 6.9 and C6 under my truck are...
I didn't buy those hangers when I did mine but I'm seriously considering it now. I got way too much lift with the factory ones, also the sky hangers move the shackle mounting point 1" forward which will get me a better angle.
