Feeling kina dumm.
Ok, cruise control on 2002 Powerstroke F 350 works.
I was trying to use the on off steering wheel buttons to activate it. What i learned is you have to be going over 30 + MPH and use the Set Speed button on the Right side of steering wheel... then speed sets and green light...
Its done, bypassed the mechanical lift pump and wired in an electric fuel punp 5-7 psi.
Hot wite to glow plug relay hotwire onthe constant side... pump bolted to fenderwell , its plastic so will see how she faires...may have to move but naybe not.
Ok, first off... thanks for the responses. This is a new truck for me so it was not working when i got it... all brake lights and interior lights are working because i just upgraded all to Light Emitting Diods .
The truck is an automatic.
So my 94 turbo IDI dont have a soup bowl right ?
Can i still block off the mechanical fuel pump and use a small electric diesel fuel pump ?
Do i just wire it into the Ignition ?
I dont think i saw the yr or mileage on this vehicle.
But it sounds like whats going on with my 94 IDI...I have a glass in line filter and it went dry on my way home from work so it got towed. It has a 2 yr old mechanical fuel pump but someone on a thread suggested if it is a high mileage rig...
So im trying to determine why the cruise control on my 2002 7.3 Powerstroke doesnt work... i replaced the most common failure part which is the pressure sensor on the side of master cylinder.
Whats next my Diesel Brothers ???
