    U joints

The front at the tcase should use a double cardan joint. If your rebuilding your driveshaft are you going to replace the center ball? Personally I use digital calipers and measure my u-joints. Then I look them up and buy them online. I only buy Spicer but it's personal preference.

Ok stupidly I mounted the projectors upside down. I assumed the cut off sheild would go on top but it actually mounts on the bottom. I had to remove some jb weld that held the cut off sheild wires through the headlight housing and I was able to rotate the projectors. After adjusting the...

    Hay, Brick nose freaks!!!

That makes sense. Currently my truck is parked on my sloped driveway so I have no idea where the lights are aimed. I think when I tightened the projectors they both rotated and I'm hoping I can rotate them back level once I find somewhere flat to aim them. I guess there will be some trial and...

    Hay, Brick nose freaks!!!

Finished installing my lights. The adjuster rod for the bottom headlight adjuster doesnt fit the new headlight assemblies. I ended up drilling a hole in the core support on both sides so I can adjust it.

Thanks for posting pics! It looks great. I'm almost finished with mine. I rewired my truck side headlight plug and the projector cut off sheilds move up when brights are off and when I turn the brights on the sheilds go down. I switched the low beam and high beam wires on the trucks headlight...

Yeah I get what you are saying. I dont believe mine came with any wiring diagrams for the Moto control harness you may be stuck with guessing.

Mine also says it's for both 9004/9007. You should be fine switching it. It looks like the ground and low beam have to be switched. I dont think it matters which side you switch.

Are you going to switch the wires on the truck side or the harness side? Either way shouldn't matter. I'm guessing you bought a 9007 harness?

You work fast! They look great! Oh yeah I forgot to mention that I also cut the bulb holder at the back of the housing off.

I originally thought it would only require removing the portion where the bulb sits against the housing. But it required removing about ~.10" of material to get the projectors to slide through the hole. I was originally going to go with mini d2s but found the g5-r on sale.

IDI van fuel tank sending unit question

That's exactly what I do but I pump fuel from the front tank to the back tank. Been working for 3.5 years now.

It mounts using a 35mm stud that goes through the hole where the bulb goes. I used a dremel and enlarged the hole in the housing. I also trimmed off about half of the distance that it stuck out. I used the nut that came with the projector to mount it.

    Hay, Brick nose freaks!!!

Yes I baked them for ~7 minutes at 230 degrees. I had to reheat them a couple times because I felt like it cooled off too much. The sealant/glue didnt come off gooey like I expected. I also accidentally scratched some of the chrome reflective material off on one of the housings.

Separating the headlight lens from the housing was a lot harder than it looks.

    Hay, Brick nose freaks!!!

They seem alright. I dont know how to tell the difference between cheap plastic vs good plastic. I have $147 into the headlights and $237 for the projectors, shrouds, bulbs, ballasts, headlight relay harness, bulb holders, and glue. So $384 total. Have not put them in or tested them yet. The...

    Hay, Brick nose freaks!!!

I got the projectors test fitted. Now I need to fix the drivers side headlight on my truck. The grill and headlight are pushed up like "^" where they meet together. That way when I mount these it will be level.

I havent seen the chrome around the the lights yet. I would have preferred them. I cant remember the manufacturer of the lights. You get the market lights with them. It looks like you can swap the market lights out with the originals if that's what you prefer.
