I've never really had to mess with the fuse box on my 85 F350, however my radio died and I crawled down there and saw a mess of jumper wires going various places from my previous owner. Drove 4 miles with starter stuck on
I've had 3 stick during excessive cranking while fixing starting issues with mine during winters. Free wheeling them doesn't seem to bother them like a load does. I wasn't sure if one was bad or not as I was able to pop battery cables off after noticing it was stuck and shutting the truck off...- BrianX128

Dumb question
Why do 6.9s that were non ac have a dual vbelt pulleys on the power steering pump but 7.3s don't? I know 6.9s often would have 2 belts to spin the water pump off the crank but I've only seen 7.3s with an idler. Just seems odd. It was loose, just tightened it. Forgot I had played around there yesterday. I also went to the alignment shop. Put the new axle shaft in today, u joint was new everything looked good. Put everything back together, steering feels great now you can feel it be "free" and the old problem is totally gone. Recommendations for AC coolant.
Pretty sure you can just take off the blower motor [4 10mm bolts I think] and wiggle the motor out and eye things up.- BrianX128

AC Compressor on always/ not cycling
I've never had one that did cycle. Not saying they shouldn't, but my 150 has the coldest ac I've ever owned. I put red tek 12a in it, the evaporator will freeze over and it will quit blowing any air. It was stuck, I was able to get it out with a pry bar. I've made a sad discovery while doing this, someone was here before me (guessing previous owners) - each u joint retaining clip is broke off and rusted to the u joint. I put the spanner nuts back on the spindle and beat it senseless and was able to get the spindle off. Now the damn shaft won't separate at the boot coming out of the front diff, I took both retainers off the boot, not sure why I'm having this issue as it seems like I should just be able to pull...- BrianX128

I've broken two air chisel ends off now trying to get that stupid plate off after taking the bolts off. Tried to grind between it to jam a pry bar in it on the left side in that picture, and when I pry on it it's just bending. Tried heat. Smashed it with a sledge. Of course the inside of my axle is different than every one I can find on Google or YouTube. No idea what I'm to take that off with. All other spanner axle nuts look nothing like this and the tool doesn't fit.- BrianX128
