Man! I'm gone for a few days and the website has been upgrade
The day after I got back from my work trip I went camping at the beach for a few days with the family.
cool gauge :Thumbs Up
Will it fit in my cluster, my gauges seem to be square but that could just be the window...
Even a gain of 40hp would be nice in our motors:)
Their test results for the single stage for a less than 300hp motor yeilded over 100hp increase. Of course it was their test;)
I still want one:love:
I'm back from N.Ca and the truck is running like a champ. Has anyone heard of these guys?

They put out a water/ methanol injection system for $569 or less for the single stage. Looks straihgt forward and no propane tank to worry about...
I just drove into Reno after the bombing and logged on with the laptop to say a big Thank you! to nevrenufhp for taking time to work on my truck. I crewzed up the mountain grades that used to make me drop down to 4th gear and fall behind the semis. I only had to use 5th gear in a few spots and...
EMD....It was a pretty good cloud at the campground, I tried to sneak away:D until I could get the rpms up and the smoke went away when I hit 3rd gear. I did get some real hard looks from people:sorry: I felt like I had just run over Bambi
Maybe when I'm idling through the campground...
I dont have any mods on the engine and no exhaust brake( 238k miles). The engine runs smooth at idle. No throttle input while coasting and i was coming down from 11k at Rocky Mountain NP(loadup w/ black smoke). I dont think the oil level was high. The light smoke happened while camping after the...
While in Yellowstone and areas in Colorado I noticed lots of blue smoke at start up in the morning. Once I got going the smoke went away. I think the other campers wanted to kill me for polluting the area! Also on long down hills at 8,000 ft and above the motor would loadup some(black smoke)...
O yeah, the other great bi-product of turning up the fuel is my mpg have gone up! I went 200 miles farther on this last fill-up. I have 3 tanks btw. the fastest I have gone pre fuel turn up is just under 80mph while in AZ with a posted speed limit of 75.
I just ran up a section of highway here in So Cal know as the "grapevine" normally I would be in 5th, but after turning up the fuel it was 6th gear 65mph @ 2k rpm with pedal to spare. I do need to get the pyro guage to make sure I'm ok on egts.

When I had my 99.5 powerstroke I had WalMart change my oil too because it was so easy to have it done there. I don't know if they would do a MDT though.
Mark
Do you guys changes your own oil or pay to have it done?
I used to do my own but now I buy the filters and oil and have Jiffy-Lube do it and they charge me $22.00. I always check to make sure nothing is leaking after they're done and so far so good. For me it's worth the money.
Mark
Thanks Don
I had the person at the dealership tell me it needed adjusting but at that time they had just replaced 2 rear rotors and calipers($1300) and I didn't have enough funds to cover both. I'm going to steam clean the underside of the rig today and then crawl under to look things over.
Looks like i will have to settle for the light bombing for now. With just turning up the fuel my truck runs so much better. Any extra cash i get will go towards a pyro/boost guage.
Mark
Are you allowed to host these parties at your place of employment? Or is this an off-site party? Do you know of a place that can dyno a MDT? I'd like to know how I stack up against a stock 530 after the bombing takes place.
Thanks, Mark
Update
Well I dug out the manual (doh!) and gravity bled the brakes and restored pressure. There is quite a bit of old crudded up oil around the master cylinder which I'm about to steam clean off. I'm going to keep my eye on levels and check for leaks once things are cleaned up, but so far so...
I'm loosing brake fluid somewhere.
The last day I drove my truck I noticed the pedal was low so I checked the fluid level and yes it was real low. I didn't drive it for a few days and the pedal went to the floor and the brake pressure alarm went off. I just put more fluid in and pumped the...
