    If there's no oil in the water, you're probably fine. Ive had an engine cavitate before and it's no fun......ultimately, if you want a diesel, get it and put a coolant filter on it pretty quick........if you don't want the "learning curve of the majestic clockity" IDI, get the 7.5...

    That's fascinating......probably definitely confirms our original suspicious. He got it hot but he wasn't crazy overheating, so hes probably good for another 100-150K.

    Nuttin' wrong with that! My dually is retired to "tow pig" status or it only gets used to haul stuff so its not drinking that much anymore. I got a 93 bronco thats my daily right now. Might look into "wood gas" for the bronco just to hear someone tell me im "destroying it" because of whatever...

    Ive ran as many as 6 batteries, 2 under the hood, and 4 in the bed because I was going to the scrap yard and was hauling them off.....I didn't run anything to those batteries, I actually don't run much......I scurry.......and you're right, ive read some unbelievable stuff on this...
