Max egts after turbo???
Why are you worried about shavings going thru the exhaust side of the turbo? Think about all the carbon chunks and rust from the inside of the exhaust manifold that go thru there.....- yoslick

Found a truck need help!
Just do the usuals, check the valley of death for fuel/oil, try and watch it at a cold start for excessive smoke, check the oil filter area for leaks, check the dip stick for water, also see what kinda blowby comes from the oil fill hole.. Water in Oil - Looking for ideas
sea foam won't hurt the oil or the fuel side, could also run some atf thru the fuel side if you suspect dirty or fouled injectors....- yoslick

Which alternator?
AIC Auxilliary Idle Controller, this is whats on ambulance chassis to handle the 200 amp alternators, automatically brings up the idle as necessary, Usually about $70 on ebay.... http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/427730-auxillary-idle-control.html- yoslick

Water in Oil - Looking for ideas
I'll bet you fixed it when you replaced the o-rings on the oil cooler, shoulda dropped the oil at the same time and started with a clean slate, also- what kinda oil is in it? could it be foaming? I'd throw 3 or 4 cans of sea foam in the oil, run er for a half hour or so and drop that mess outta...- yoslick

Truck won't start
no, electrical injectors don't need to be bled, I'd say you got some really bad fuel with water in them tanks and your gonna have to get it out some how- yoslick

GPR not functioning
PCM sends the signal, I'd definately ground the non hot side small post and see what happens, your other choice would be to run a hot wire via a heavy duty push button on the dash so you could control the relay manually for as long as you wanted.... cheeper than a new PCm if thats the problem.....- yoslick

could also be a failing CPS or fuel pump issue, whats the fuel filter and level in the bowl look like after it quits? Oil level on the dip stick ok? last oil change?- yoslick

Looking at a 97 Crew Cab
What options do you have to see where the leak is? Mechanic/shop etc.... If it's a head gasket your lookin at major cash unless you have the ability to do it your self.. Could be simple, heater hoses, heater box itself etc... but it definately needs to be investigated closely. With all the...- yoslick
