    A good place to find parts is a shop that services / installs propane systems in cars. I found a local shop that did Taxis Cabs, they were a great help as they had all the valves, switches etc. I also installed a fail safe that would not let the system operate unless the engine had oil pressure...

    Anyone install a power inverter in their truck?

    I have one bought from Costco, has twin cooling fans and works great. Mounted behind my rear seat, connected directly to the battery. I extended the wiring for the internal on off switch using some 16 gauge wire and mounted the switch under the dash.

    I've lost power to the "I" terminal of my regulator, the factory gauge is showing low voltage ( confirmed at 11.5 volts ). If I apply battery power to the terminal everything goes back to normal.     I'd unplug it first, there is always a slim chance you could become a path for the electricity to flow to earth ( ground ) if your cord has gone bad overnite. Maybe that cat ate the cord and it is now touching the frame or body.:eek:

    Thanks guys, I've thought about making the switch to synthetic or a semi synthetic but I worry my truck internals won't like the change after 20 years of 15-40 real stuff.
