Hey Rebel, yes I did call, and noone in this area has one. I also used http://www.partshotlines.com/ and found some in TX and NM. But the shipping charges make it too expensenve for a used transmission. Really surprising how hard it is to find one in this area. Even ebay is expensive. Not many...- wbjames

Hey all, I find myself in need of a Auto O/D with the 4x4 housing. I have a 2x4 version for trade. Or I can purchase the trans. I am on the east coast, VA. Here is a question, does anybody know what 4-speed manual transmission was used on older Cummins Dodges? I am planning out a conversion for my 77 Plymouth Trailduster and I have a NP 435 or 445 (I have to run the numbers) and a NP205 t-case. I'll look into the Ford. I also considered the Banks IC upgrade for my 07 then reuse the IC on the Plymouth. But that is 1200.00+ I don't have just now. Front shaft will be a Parts Yard shaft with new U-joints. Rear will have to be custom. I will reuse all I can from the doner.- wbjames

Rebel, You pretty much said my plan. I am taking a chunk out of the center(ish) part of the 250 frame to get the wheelbase matched. Not sure how much or if any any out from behind the rear wheel. Being new to Diesels. (Bought my First last year 07 2500 4x4 Cummins SLT) I am taking on a project of crazy proportions. I picked up a 92 Club Cab LE with the first Gen for a song and a dance. 2x4. My plan is to section the frame in 2 places, swap in a 60 in the front and set on my 1977...- wbjames
