I ordered, and waited for this truck in 1995. Don't know if there were gaskets on it, or not. All I know is I had soot coming out the rear-most cylinders on both sides, and the up-pipe doughnut gaskets were shot also. Putting a straight edge on the exhaust manifolds showed an imperfection...- wanderer

So if these engines don't use gaskets, where did they get the gaskets that are on my engine? I'll admit to being ignorant about a lot of things, but sealing against leaks is what I do for a living, and a gasket is a requirement, in most cases.- wanderer

What exactly are YOU using between the exhaust manifold and the head for sealing purposes? My exhaust manifolds were leaking at the rear-most cylinders on both sides, soot blowing by. Up-pipe donut gaskets were shot also. I'll admit that the guys working on the truck are not that...- wanderer

Thought I would post on this board about my injector problem this week. The o-rings on my baby swamps gave out, and they were replaced by swamps diesel tuesday evening. Apparently the o-rings that have been used are of an inferior quality, by Bean, and Swamps. They both have changed...- wanderer

Fuel in the Oil,,..?
I'd say simplistic things first. Bad o-rings on the injector/s. 128K on the motor is about the time to be replacing o-rings, not pumps.- wanderer
