What do CA laws say about swaping a same year diesel into a same year gasser?
from what i have researched yes it is legal but the engine must come from model year or newer if you want to register it and not have to smog it other than getting it inspected to make sure it has all the emissions equipment from the model year of the donor truck keep the diesel that you swap in...- vpcatfish

How much air filter restriction is too much?
most diesels max is 25 in-h2o most restriction gauges / Donaldson gauge read a max of 30in-h2o. naturally aspirated or charged air system will not change that because at 25-30 in-h2o is when it starts to draw air from other places like the gasket on the air filter and the air filter housing...- vpcatfish
