I do not know if your year truck is the same system as my 93, my recall on the brake part under the floor mounted to the frame fixed mine. Brake fluid was dripping onto the wire connector and popping fuse.
I am confused (not unusual these days). If I counted correctly, I have ten bolts to hold my flex plate onto the crankshaft. All the flexplates that I am seeing listed for a 93 NA IDI have nine. The flexplate I got from Rock Auto has nine. Did I get the incorrect flexplate or did I...
My Flex plate has broke. It galled the mating surface of the thick spacer between the end of the crank and the torque converter. I am looking for a replacement part. Can file on mine but would prefer using a better one.
Not happy with tranny yet. Drove today for the first time. Shifts poorly. I will check the outputs on the throttle position sensor, clean the connector contacts, do all the usual things to sort out poor shifting. It shifts like my old tranny did before replacing the solenoid pack. Kinda...
I am trying to finish the install of my Monster Tranny. I have more gripes about the tranny, but will vent later. I did not pay close enough attention to which electrical connector goes to the MLPS and which one goes to the solenoid pack. It is not obvious to me. One connector is grey and...
I sadly cannot recommend Monster transmissions. I am Very frustrated with the one I bought. Almost three months to get, then I had to use some of my parts out of my old tranny. The shifter shaft on the tranny I got was not for the style of MLPS that I had. If they knew i would have to pull...
The linkage issue has been resolved. I should have read all the fine print. They expect you to replace their linkage with yours. It is surprising to me that I have to install my old shift linkage. I will post more on tranny after I install and drive it. Too soon to tell just yet. Their...
Finally received my E4OD from Monster Transmissions after waiting nearly three months. I have the old tranny out and sitting beside the new one. I went to install the MLPS, but to my surprise, the length of the new shaft is about an inch shorter (the thickness of the MLPS) than the old one...
93, NA, E4OD, Regular Cab, long bed, 2wd, one piece drive shaft. The front driveshaft yoke wore out. In need of a replacement. Anybody have an extra serviceable one laying around? Thanks in advance.
