Tech time mag probe
The "Diesel Diagnostics - 6.9L Engine" section from the 1986 CAR/TRUCK SHOP Manual shows the IP is timed at 1400 rpm--see attached PDF file. So, it would appear the 7.3L is timed at 2000 rpm, but the 6.9L is timed at 1400. I have the complete section (#25) if needed.- Ray-69IDI
