    Hi, new to the duramax but have read on this forum the problems they have. Am I crazy thinking of buying a duramax with 360,000 km on it? I need it for a work truck that will do some plowing and towing, it will get beat up. Any input would be great. Thanks

    I had the pump rebuilt to ford specs last year, there is about 10,000 miles on the pump. It will actually rev up to 3100, too ******* it I think when loaded. We timed it by ear and how it feels, can't find anyone to time it locally. Do you think too much advance would give these high temps...
