It needs four tires and the cheapest I have found for something decent is $650. Got to do it to pass inspection. :/ No spare with this truck - or at least I couldn't find it.
I plan to swap the bed and rear axle and make it a SRW in the future, if I don't just get a newer truck first - this is...
I thought you mailed it already? I'm happy to go through with the deal, but if you think I'd be better off with the eBay one, I can do that instead. Your call.
I'll check if SLE2115's has a knob. (I need the knob too anyway)
If not, I'll PM you my info tomorrow and arrange payment - whatever method you prefer... Then I'll get a knob at wallyworld or wherever...
I haven't driven this truck yet (still waiting on a gear shift lever) so I don't know what it looks like as it goes down.
How safe is it to run out of fuel on one tank then switch? Is this a huge problem? Does the truck give signs before running out?
I'd like to learn the gauges patterns...
What I have seen is a kit that, added to the standard axle, makes it a dually axle. Does this mean if I remove the wheels and these parts, I just have a single axle, or do I need any extra parts? Or do I need to replace the entire axle?
My 93 F350 has the two tanks. When the fuel switch is up, the needle always goes to above full, but when the fuel switch is down, it seems to read a sane amount.
What do you think is happening? Both tanks are full.
I've seen a few people swap parts to go up to a dually spec, but has anyone gone the other way? I think I'd prefer my truck to not be a dually for a couple of reasons, and I'm wondering what's involved?
Shipping sounds like it'll be around $15 bucks. It's a metal stick so just wrapping the two ends in some bubble wrap and stick it in a box? How does $35 all in sound?
