    1994 Ford Cummins conversion

Like I said before, it wasn't a flame, and I wasn't trying to start a ******* match. I simply was stating my thoughts, and experience. You like the ZF, I like the NV4500, it is a free country. If everybody liked or had the same thing, it would be a very boring world.

    1994 Ford Cummins conversion

That may be true for a stock vs. stock engine comparison, but for a Cummins making 1000+ ft/lbs of torque, there is no way I would expect the ZF to live for very long. The only thing that I have seen for a big problem on the NV4500 is the 5th gear nut, which can be fixed with new mainshaft. I...

    1994 Ford Cummins conversion

Thanks for the compliments! I just went with Cummins red to mess with peoples heads a little more. I used the NV4500 from a dodge diesel. Heavier transmission and alot easier due to the fact that I didn't have to use a adapter.

    front springs factory lift blocks?

I just turned 30, and can't stand a truck that goes down the road with a empty trailer, and looks like it has the worlds heaviest imaginary load on it. What is even better is the guys that spend thousands of dollars to lift a truck, and it is draggin' ass.

    cummins 12v exhaust manifolds

Radcam, where did you get your turbo blanket? Is that a cool-it product too? I am wanting to put a couple on mine, to keep the heat out, and protect the hood from heat too. Has anyone tried there clamp on heat shields? I thought about it to protect my intercooler pipe from the S400.

    300+hp cummins and wastgates?

You can do it with a VE motor too. It will just take a little more work, and tuning, but it can be done. The VE's are known for there awesome fuel economy. I like the way they are running before you can even let go of the key.

Not bad, at least I don't think. Two piece driveshaft, shorten front half, re-tube and lengthen rear half, check out carrier bearing and replace two u-joints, just under $200 without tax. He even cleans them, and puts a nice shiny coat of black paint on them. Now this was a dodge driveshaft...

Get you a photobucket account, it is so much easier than trying to fight with getting them the right size to post them directly on here. For your drive shafts, I took mine to Bolin's Truck parts there in St. Joe. The guy that does them is easy to work with, and does a nice job.

Oh,yeah, it should hold up just fine. As long as you painted the outside to protect it, the ant-freeze will take care of the inside. I just realized where your at, you are only about 45 mins from me. I am just south east of Cameron. Do you have any pictures or a link to your truck?

That should work too. I couldn't do that, or I wouldn't have room to put the a/c on. I sat the engine as low and as far back as I could due to the twins, so I had to get creative.
