    1994 Ford Cummins conversion

Like I said before, it wasn't a flame, and I wasn't trying to start a pissing match. I simply was stating my thoughts, and experience. You like the ZF, I like the NV4500, it is a free country. If everybody liked or had the same thing, it would be a very boring world.

    1994 Ford Cummins conversion

That may be true for a stock vs. stock engine comparison, but for a Cummins making 1000+ ft/lbs of torque, there is no way I would expect the ZF to live for very long. The only thing that I have seen for a big problem on the NV4500 is the 5th gear nut, which can be fixed with new mainshaft. I...

    1994 Ford Cummins conversion

Thanks for the compliments! I just went with Cummins red to mess with peoples heads a little more. I used the NV4500 from a dodge diesel. Heavier transmission and alot easier due to the fact that I didn't have to use a adapter.

    front springs factory lift blocks?

I just turned 30, and can't stand a truck that goes down the road with a empty trailer, and looks like it has the worlds heaviest imaginary load on it. What is even better is the guys that spend thousands of dollars to lift a truck, and it is draggin' ass.

    cummins 12v exhaust manifolds

Radcam, where did you get your turbo blanket? Is that a cool-it product too? I am wanting to put a couple on mine, to keep the heat out, and protect the hood from heat too. Has anyone tried there clamp on heat shields? I thought about it to protect my intercooler pipe from the S400.

    300+hp cummins and wastgates?

You can do it with a VE motor too. It will just take a little more work, and tuning, but it can be done. The VE's are known for there awesome fuel economy. I like the way they are running before you can even let go of the key.

    lower radiator hose

Not bad, at least I don't think. Two piece driveshaft, shorten front half, re-tube and lengthen rear half, check out carrier bearing and replace two u-joints, just under $200 without tax. He even cleans them, and puts a nice shiny coat of black paint on them. Now this was a dodge driveshaft...

    lower radiator hose

Get you a photobucket account, it is so much easier than trying to fight with getting them the right size to post them directly on here. For your drive shafts, I took mine to Bolin's Truck parts there in St. Joe. The guy that does them is easy to work with, and does a nice job.

    lower radiator hose

Oh,yeah, it should hold up just fine. As long as you painted the outside to protect it, the ant-freeze will take care of the inside. I just realized where your at, you are only about 45 mins from me. I am just south east of Cameron. Do you have any pictures or a link to your truck?

    lower radiator hose

That should work too. I couldn't do that, or I wouldn't have room to put the a/c on. I sat the engine as low and as far back as I could due to the twins, so I had to get creative.

    lower radiator hose

This what I did, with it I just used one 90* hose.

    Reverse Shackle Kit for OBS

I have installed 2 now, 1 for a customer, 1 for my conversion truck. I haven't driven mine yet, but I did test drive my customers truck, after installation. It made a huge difference, rode much better, and seemed like it even steered better. Both kits came from Off Road Unlimited. It was a '97...

Just an idea, but you are using the Dodge steering pump, and the Ford gearbox correct? If you made a hose or somehow adapted it, is it possible that is plugged somehow? Maybe something like how a brake line separates on the inside?-Nicholas

You are finished and ready to drive? You suck! (J/K). I wish mine was drivable. I am trying to stay patient and finish mine right the first time, I know I will be happier with the results.-Nicholas

    1994 Ford Cummins conversion

I finally got some more work done. I finished and installed the wastegate, merge collector/hot pipe, and installed the secondary. Installed the DDP 4's, and the 3k Gov springs. Stripped apart the front wire loom and relocated the starter relay to the drivers side. Had the oil feed lines made and...
