    Thanks. My wires without a home do not include tan/yellow or darkgreen. I really need a picture under the hood for the harness that goes around the battery and near the evaporator. Thats where the missing pieces are.

    I fixed the yellow wire coming out of the loom and the black/orange charge wire but it's still overcharging. I don't know where to start with the y/w wire.

    I checked the voltage at the box on the drivers fender. It is the same as the battery 13.1. The truck was in an accident before I got it, thats why the box is all jacked up and sitting in a tuperware dish. I moved the sensing wire lead and the 6 gauge wire to the relay, but its still...

    I will fix the cable on the left running to the solenoid. I don't know where the alternator cable, on the right, goes to the fuse box. There's not another big wire that runs to the fuse box that it should connect to.

    Thanks for the video. The y/w wire was connected to ground. It's charging now but I've got 17.4v. What could be causing the high voltage? Batteries are already charged fully.

    I spliced the I terminal through a tail light bulb and 12v. The S terminal is as it should be. I connected the A terminal to the battery. The alternator is still not charging. What should I do next?

    Thanks for the replies. Is there a one-wire alternator solution for these trucks? I know with my 68 camaro there was one.

    Thanks franklin2. None of the loose wires have any power with the key on. I checked all the fuses and they're good.
