Lots of Black Smoke
I have found my issue. It no longer rolls mass amounts of coal. I switch from using my rear tank to the front, and all the above stopped. I believe I am pulling air from the rear setup. No smoke on front tank at all even at wide open throttle. It will smoke some at lower RPMS if I floor board it.- kcw12

military tires
I Happened to have a set of these military tires and wheels on my 92 F350. Takes a 2 inch spaces to make them work. The rims and tires are very heavy, and are impossible to balance. I wouldn't give you 50 cents for a set of 12.- kcw12

Its a factory turbo motor. I think I am going to try to move the timing. I am going to try to advance the timing as above said, see if that helps.- kcw12

Things I've noticed Black Smoke anywhere in the power band More power when cold advanced is on, less smoke. I am going to assume the fuel screw is messed with. Also would it being out of time (retarded) have anything to do with this too? Time for new IP and injectors? Compression is good...- kcw12

7.3L with Aprrox 300k miles Turbo with 85k miles Injectors with 50k miles, injector pump with 50k miles. 1000 obo Transmission with approx 300ki miles, I changed the fluid in it myself, about every 25k miles. Shifts good. I took the shifter out to get it out of truck, found the shifter, cant...- kcw12

Who wants trade a 7.3l for a 6.9l
Who wants to trade a running 7.3l minus CDR (had turbo on it) for about the same condition 6.9l. If the 6.9 doesn't have truck manifolds, I'll need the ones i have. Anyone interested, Ill even leave the dual mass flywheel on it! Would be willing to meet at the rally.- kcw12

Rear carrier bearing issue. How does this even happen?!
I've had a bad moog balljoint for these trucks. Mistakes happen everywhere. Motor and trans mount ok? Was everything tight? Bushing on rear leafs good?- kcw12
