Jet Fuel and Amsoil???
i would say 2 stoke outboard oil would work well... if it will protect my evinrude spinning@5600 day in day out i would think lubing a injector would be no problem... it costs about $12+ a gallon depending on what brand you get... one gallon will treat 50 gallons of unleaded but i'm not sure...- jlayne

well thats much better than me... i think i only have seven and half sometimes ... i'm scared to hook it up to a computer i'm afraid it will tell me i need some new ones :rolleyes: but its ok i have plenty of money to burn :mad: not- jlayne

Fix for boost gauge flutter
i have a 35lb. autometer sport comp and it is steady as a rock... but i still have the stock squirters just curious, could the gauge flutter be more of a problem with surge or stall than the gauge itself? i wonder if it would smooth it out if you added a ATS housing or something... where...- jlayne

Quite possibly the dumbest thread I ever read
i wish i could find a old scout that was in decent shape to restore... all of them i run across have cancer out the *****... they are cool old trucks but have terrible rust problems when i get done with my 78 bronco i want to redo either a old scout or a 2dr. fullize jeep cherokee chief- jlayne

Where to find a good 4BT
avant salvage down here in ga. buys all of the frito lay delivery box trucks when they are done with them and 95% of them have 4bt's in them... they have quite a few last time i checked with them... but thats probably not going to be much help for you on the west side as shipping would be killer- jlayne

Moisture on windows
if a 91 is like the 95 i replace a core in, if you remove the glove box you will see the heater box and it will have a access panel to get to the core with about 6 screws in it... remove that cover and the heater core is right there... feal around on it and see if she is wet :D if it is all...- jlayne

just rotate the tensioner CCW i think and reallign the belts... i doubt you will have to take it all the way off and i doubt mickey did any damage unless you ran the truck too long with the belt crooked... worst case i bet all you would need is a belt if it makes you feel any better i started...- jlayne

EBV nastiness
i wonder does the extra soot/smoke from a chip/tuner make these things clog up faster? i know some guys with 250-300K+ on there stock trucks and have never had a problem with them... i waited untill the warranty went out on mine at 100K and tuned it up and now at 130K it is clogged... or is it...- jlayne

Moisture on windows
roll the window down while your parking :rotflmao my 81 does the same thing and it is a leaky windshield... it takes very little moisture to make one fog up.... you should also check the heater core and door/window rubbers... they get old and shrink so it might not leak enough to make a...- jlayne

Engine build date?
the build date is on the sticker on one of the valve covers on my motor it has a actual date and a serial number... but i have heard that there is no real cutoff point, they sprinkeled in the pmr for a bit before they completely changed over... using the method 95 said would be the best bet...- jlayne

well it appears that all the egg nog got to my old truck over the holidays and something is up with the EBV it gave me some codes saying something is up with the sensor and even in 20 deg. weather it won't close the tube looks like a biznitch to get off so i'm hoping that the sensor just...- jlayne
