    GP tips gone

Sure. I am hoping it will be done in the next 1-1.5 months. The pump and injector replacement goes along with a turbo kit install. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    GP tips gone

I don’t, but I will be replacing the pump and injectors in the near future. I already have them sitting in the garage. When I do that I will make sure timing is good. 7.5 + or - 1 BTDC, correct? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    GP tips gone

Hi all. So I went to replace my GPs today. I had noticed harder cold starts and less of a voltage drop when glowing them than before. All GP were zd-9. All of them came out easy, but the ones from my rear 2 cylinders were missing their tips. I have no idea how long they have been like this and I...

    E250 blower motor resistor location

I will take a look. I replaces the blower motor a couple of years ago and the motor just has a 2 wire plug that connects to the harness and then goes in to one of the engine wire looms. Can’t remember if I said it in the original post. It is a 1988. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    E250 blower motor resistor location

That is what I may end up doing, I was just kinda hoping someone would know the exact location. The blower motor is under the hood and kind of a pain to get at. Not terrible, but not easy either. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    E250 blower motor resistor location

Hi all, The resistor for my front blower motor went out on my 1988 e250. I only get high. Before I start just hunting for it, does anyone know where it is located? Just trying to save some time. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Towing issues?

Did you just swap to a larger auxiliary trans cooler, or did you also reconnect the stock one in the radiator? When I was planning on towing with mine I spoke with quite a few very knowledgeable transmission people. They all said that the stock cooler is a much more efficient setup than any aux...

    Towing issues?

Made it there and back with no issues. I watched my temps so I could report back for you to compare to. Drivetrain is a NA 7.3, c6 and 3.54 gears. My setup is right at 14K lbs GCW. Temps outside on the way down were sunny and in the 70's. On the way back it was rainy and in the 50's. Biggest...

    Towing issues?

All it would take is a section of bulk hose and a couple of hose clamps to add the stock cooler back in the cooling circuit. That is what I would do. You may want to flush the stock cooler with fluid before hooking it up if it has been left open to the elements. You said you were seeing 210* on...

Heater box flap location on vans?

You are talking about the blower for the dash AC, correct? Have you unplugged the blower motor and put your volt meter on the plug while going through the different speeds with the dash controls. This could tell you if it is the motor or not. That is where I would start. Although you may have...

Heater box flap location on vans?

Engine running with AC selector on. Then jump the low pressure switch in the engine compartment while watching the compressor to see if the clutch engages. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Heater box flap location on vans?

To test to make sure the compressor will run you can jump the low pressure switch momentarily and watch it. You should see it engage. Just run it for a few seconds though since there isn’t anything in the system. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Towing issues?

Unless the stock trans cooler in the radiator is broken (allowing trans fluid into the coolant to coolant into the trans) it should not be bypassed. It is a much more efficient cooler than an aftermarket one. The aftermarket one should be put in series after the stock one. I used a Ford 6.0L...
