If you only have 60K on your truck you are under warrenty. I would look into having them replace it for free, or the $100 deductable. Hopefully you will fall under warrenty and the cost will not kill you. You could have a 53 block, I have heard people say some early '01's have the 53 block...- haz-mat19

What year Cummins should i buy???
$20K is about right,mine was a year old with 30K on it and I got it for $29K. I love my truck, it still sounds like a diesel ;Sweet ;Poke .See ya :popcorn- haz-mat19

Too big?
I know a few people with 305's, they only rub if you have to crank the wheel really hard, other then that they run fine.- haz-mat19

So how do you guys handle reluctant restraunts?
I would not worry about hauling 55 gallons of WVO. The co. is getting made from losing buisness. The EPA is not going to mess with you. As long as the stuff is not getting dropped down the storm drain or in any water ways I would not worry about it. As long as the resturants are cool, they own...- haz-mat19

eliminating lift pump!!!!
Just got my fass installed last week. So far 20 at idle and 17 at WOT ;Sweet . So far so good. See ya :popcorn- haz-mat19

why wont the cummins break?
Lift pump at 78k, track bar at around 60k. That is about it :thumbsup:- haz-mat19

What is the best
I agree, the proguard 7 is the best for filtration, as far as putting it in I did mine in the dark after a few beers :cheers: they are easy to put in and save the money for the install. See ya- haz-mat19

I would get like an '04, it will have a warrenty if the miles aren't over and you will not have to pay the big price of a brand new truck. But if a payment is no option get a new one, like they where saying it is yours and you will not get someone elses problems. My truck was a year old with 30k...- haz-mat19

What additives when we go to "no sulphur" diesel?
I run marvels red mystery oil it is cheap, I also run power service once in a while to clean the injectors and up the cetan. See ya- haz-mat19
