If you only have 60K on your truck you are under warrenty. I would look into having them replace it for free, or the $100 deductable. Hopefully you will fall under warrenty and the cost will not kill you. You could have a 53 block, I have heard people say some early '01's have the 53 block...
$20K is about right, mine was a year old with 30K on it and I got it for $29K. I love my truck, it still sounds like a diesel ;Sweet ;Poke .See ya :popcorn
I would not worry about hauling 55 gallons of WVO. The co. is getting made from losing buisness. The EPA is not going to mess with you. As long as the stuff is not getting dropped down the storm drain or in any water ways I would not worry about it. As long as the resturants are cool, they own...
I agree, the proguard 7 is the best for filtration, as far as putting it in I did mine in the dark after a few beers  they are easy to put in and save the money for the install. See ya
I would get like an '04, it will have a warrenty if the miles aren't over and you will not have to pay the big price of a brand new truck. But if a payment is no option get a new one, like they where saying it is yours and you will not get someone elses problems. My truck was a year old with 30k...
Try and get it around 450 and pay 500, the extra will go straight to principal. Thats what I did and it takes the principal down quick. Make sure the load does not have a early pay off penilty. What ever exta you can put down every month will get it payed off faster. I only put down 4k. Good...
Edge makes a great product. The edge are easy to put in you could put it in yourself in about 20 minutes, the hardest part would be the pyro. Good luck see ya
Sweet truck  . CUT out the cat it will flow better. An intake and a box of your choice, I like edge myself and it will be awsome. Damn stock it will almost beat my truck :backoff  . Have fun and injoy. See ya :popcorn
Holtzer1, if I take my truck in for warrenty work should I take the comp out first, I have not tapped the wire yet. I think the injector pump may have been hurt when the L/P went south. I don't want any problems if I take it in. :thanks: See ya :popcorn
Diesel power magazine did a full build up on a 6.2 and added a banks turbo. It was a good artical, might be worth picking it up to get some ideas. See ya
The juice would be a great choice, you can pick what setting you want to use and you get gauges. I have a comp, I just don't use all the settings right now. Good luck. See ya
Back to the thread  , you can put in a good valvebody and it will hold good power for a good long while. I have owned a ford diesel, it was an '85 F350 with a 6.9. it was a dog and ate glow plugs, but it did me well for a long time sold it with 180k. Buy what you are comfortable with...
