led tail lights affect E4OD shifting.
1993 f350diesel E4OD with newly rebuilt Trans. Seems to shift randomly, Wants to skip 2nd and shift in and out of OD when cruising at highway speed. The transmission rebuilder thinks it’s the Led tail lights may be the issue. Do I add a resistor somehow or use a US Shift trans module?- F350crew

cost of E4OD rebuild
I have a '93 F350 7.3 aftermarket banks turbo, 4x4 crew truck with E4OD trans. 155K miles on the truck. I am not a mechanic and the transmission needs rebuilt. There is a complete set with clamps but for a Van. Will that work on a 7.3 truck with Banks Sidewinder Turbo?- F350crew

Seattle Area IDI mechanic needed
Thanks for the responses. I have not had time to have the code read on the transmission. The mechanic that did read the code a few months ago while servicing the truck said the code indicated the torque converter was not locking up. I did not write the code number down though. Seattle Area IDI mechanic needed
I have a 1993 7.3 non-turbo with about 130k miles. I am new to owning a diesel and am looking for a good mechanic in the Seattle area. Backyard mechanic or good repair shop that knows the 7.3 IDI, not just a code reader that charges to much and does nothing. I am not sure the right terms but...- F350crew
