forgotton trucks
Think your truck is forgotton. I have a 1980 IH Scout Terra with the Nissian turbo diesel. Nobody ever thinks of those. I also have a 1983 4wd F-250 6.9 4 spd. Eason
Guys Navistar is lauching a new road tractor called the Lonestar inspired by the late 30's D series trucks. Go to Navistar's website (International delivers) I think. They have street rodded a 1939 D series pick-up with a 6.4 twin turbo motor. Looking at the truck without raising the hood you...
I have a early 83 6.9 (factory air was not available at the time the truck was ordered) with a Lone Star add on air with a york compressor. I have a chance to buy a complete factory system from the compressor back for $50. Can I use the york compressor (it's already mounted) or should I locate...

I have a 83 6.9 with aftermarket air (Texas air or Lonestar Air) The original owner installed this system and said it's better than nothing. I picked up a 90 F-250LD for the DMI bumper and it has factory air. I know I would have to have the control for the 86 and earlier style. Would the heater...
FordGuy 100 my 83 looks just like yours in your picture. Do you mind telling me what is LMC? I've been looking at Dennis Carpenter and his parts are high. Thanks Eason
Hello everyone, I just bought a 63 F-250 from the original owner w/148000 miles. The truck was the first diesel to come in to Crest Ford in Rocky Mount NC. It's early enough that factory air was not available when the fellow ordered it. My truck does not have the factory tach and I have found a...
