The bill was almost 5grand the first time and now it develops a problem with the very same component he worked on previously and it's going to cost ANOTHER 4700 to fix it?? Seems sketchy to me. According to the mechanic the no start was caused by low fuel pressure due to the clogged strainer in the tank. The clogged strainer, according to him, also caused the 3 injectors to be "bad". It's got 240k. Pyro never gets above 1100 and boost never gets above 16-18.- Eighty_six

Alright powerstroke God's, I need some advice here. Took my dad's 2000 f350 7.3 in to a shop for a no start situation and to have trans/diff serviced. Block heater HOT HOT HOT
The picture is of the female end of my extension cord. Not the plug on the truck. Yes it is a replacement. It is rated for 20amps. The cord itself is a 12/3 cord. (12guage wire x3 wires) so I don't believe the extension cord is the issue. I'll check connections and clean stuff up and see if that...- Eighty_six

Block heater HOT HOT HOT
Well my glow plugs are not up to par, I have known they need replacing for a month or so now just have not had the time to do it. I just replaced the starter a little over a month ago and I'm trying to treat it well by plugging in the truck for a short period in the morning. It really helps.- Eighty_six

That's possible. The passenger side is a ***** to get to though. I wonder why anyone would replace the hard side and neglect the easy side? I just hope there's nothing else wrong that's going to cause them to burn out again prematurely. Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using Tapatalk- Eighty_six

I replaced the 4 glow plugs on the driver's side and she fired right up. Now I'll do the other 4. Any ideas on why 4 glow plugs, all on the same side of the motor, would go bad all at once? Oh yes, I'm familiar with the need for motorcrafts or berus. Although I did notice the new "motorcraft" plugs I got today said beru on them. Misbranding or is beru making the plugs for motorcraft? Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using Tapatalk- Eighty_six

I ended up ohming out the glow plugs individually on the driver's side and they all tested bad. (.2 or less)going to replace the four on that side and if that solves the issue I'll do the other 4. That's the primer color, it's just rusty metal primer made by Rust-Oleum. Haven't decided on a color but I know I want to use something with some texture to it. I'm still researching different options. As for the nose cone, I have no idea if it makes a difference or not honestly. The...- Eighty_six
