I have mine on drivers side pillar and I do have glowshift ,I have to tap on them from time to time don't buy them they look good but don't work long at all,I'm replacing them soon
Yeah it's an automatic, I haven't really recorded fuel mileage I'm going by fuel gauge and feel. The rpm's and looks are great now but wish I could better fuel mileage. I agree it would probably be great if they made a 3.90 gear.
I just switched to 285 70 17 on my 97 f250 powerstroke,it's 2wd single axle and has 3.55 gears.seems like fuel mileage went down a bunch and little loss in take off power, you guys think 4.10's would be ok I drive daily and tow some
Yes definitely check connector and wiring harness. On one truck I had a wire bad in the harness on another truck there was a small rock not allowing connector to plug in all the way.
Ok before I waste money and time in everyone's opinion that has experience with lunchbox style lockers will a lunchbox locker hold up to every day driving, long distance driving and towing??
Yeah ok we're on the same page,I didn't think Detroit made a lunch box style.I wanna do the lunch box style cause it's less work to install lol.I just hoping it will be good for towing and daily driving,I not to worried about a little noise.
Yeah I change gears a lot so I'm good with that part, I'm just wondering how well them lockers work with a diesel.i put them in front diffs for other people but that's not daily driven
I wanna make my rear end pull posi,I drive my truck daily has anyone ever installed a locker inside of a 2wd open differential?i was trying to avoid pulling the whole unit.
