    Can I put a 6.2 where a 6.5t is?

Neat videos, very nice setup you've got there! I just finished putting a 6.2 in a C65 chevy truck so it's nice to see it's been done before. What did you use for a transmission? There are some 660 cast 6.2's that have the turbo oil port in the front, I've had one and have heard of others...

    Can I put a 6.2 where a 6.5t is?

Yeah, new AMG stuff would be great but like you say out of the budget. I've had pretty good luck finding 6.2's and piecing motors together, but it seems like for every good block I find there are 2 more that are junk. DS4 and DB2 not compatible, DB4 and DB2 may be doable. I stumbled on a...

    Can I put a 6.2 where a 6.5t is?

There can be clearance issues with the short injectors when used in 6.2 heads, the injection lines won't fit right and the turbo side manifold is very tight with the nuts. The best bet is if you have a good 6.2 and your 6.5 heads are good put the 6.5 heads on the 6.2 block and swap all the rest...

    Possible 6.2 project...need dimensions

6.2/6.5 is smaller than a BBC, may be slightly bigger than a SBC. If I have time I'll measure one when I get to the shop tomorrow. They do weigh more than a SBC.

    Injection pump upgrade

I tried to do what you are thinking of doing. I was able to get a pump to pump some fuel, but it didn't last long under pressure of poping injectors. The reason injection parts are chromed is that they operate under extreme pressures so they need an incredibly hard surface to keep from wearing...

    Injection pump upgrade

What you are describing is possible, but not as easy as you think. To do it right you'll need to find a pump shop or someone who can re-chrome the plungers and rotor. otherwise it won't work for long. To get 300hp at the engine there are several options. A db2-4974 marine pump will do it as will...

    6.2L Chevy Banks Intake Setup

Dang, was hoping you had the manifold too. That's the only part I'm looking for.

    6.2L Chevy Banks Intake Setup

Do you just have the intake parts, no exhaust manifold?

    Duramax Bellhousing Pattern

It is the same as all older small blocks, big blocks, and diesels. It has a few extra holes, one at the very top, and 4 at the bottom. Older transmissions will bolt up though with no problem.

    6.5 turbo on an IDI?

They can make 20 lbs of boost, but it is nowhere close to efficient. To get anything over 12-15 you have to spin the crap out of it. The turbine wheel is tiny, the exhaust housing is tiny, and the compressor wheel isn't great either. For the money a TO4B is a better choice, IMO. They were put on...

    6.5 turbo on an IDI?

I wouldn't recomend it. The stock turbo on a 6.5 is far to small for a 6.5 motor, much less a 6.9 or 7.3. It will make some ok boost numbers but be way to small on the exhaust side. If it's a banks or ats aftermarket it will be a T04b garret, which will work ok and be easy to get parts for.

new truck m1008 what do i need to know

Make sure the radiator is clean and the fan clutch is working well since you will be off road/slow speed. Is it still set up for 24volt operation, if so I ditch that setup and go 12 volt since parts are easier to get. Any bubbles in the coolant or burning water?

    '02 GM 6.5 Turbo

I would guess maybe the WMO finally got the best of the optic sensor. It's on top of the IP, and you probably have to pull the upper intake off to get at it. I'd try unplugging it and seeing what happens. It will start with it unplugged after and extended cranking session and run with default...

    Oil Feed Line for Turbo

What year? If it's '95 or older remove the a/c compressor and you can get at it. If it's '96 or newer I think you have to pull the whole passenger side accessory bracket off.
